The parks and recreation department maintains over 1,800 acres of urban parkland in Boulder. This includes 288 acres of managed turf and irrigated park lands and 40 playgrounds, in addition to the Pearl Street Mall, Flatirons Golf Course, Boulder Reservoir, Valmont Bike Park and many other public facilities. We provide pocket parks (like Melody Park in North Boulder), neighborhood parks (like Martin Park in South Boulder) and community parks (like East Boulder Community Park in East Boulder).
