Possible Zero Waste Regulation for Properties and Businesses

The City of Boulder is updating its Zero Waste Strategic Plan, which outlines the community’s zero waste goals and provides a framework for guiding investments in new programs, services and facilities that are needed to reach them. As part of that process, City Council has asked staff to develop regulatory options to encourage businesses, industry and multi-family units (apartments, townhomes and condos) to recycle and compost more. The following questions relate to recommended POSSIBLE regulations that were developed through collaboration with a working group made up of local experts and stakeholders.

Thank you in advance for providing your valuable feedback, which will be considered by city staff and presented to City Council when they consider possible regulation. This should take you about 3 minutes.
